Annual Children’s Christmas Parade

Come out to the Children’s Christmas Parade, hosted by Daily Press and the City of Victorville. This year’s theme is “Remembering When…A Nostalgic Christmas” and the Grand Marshal will be Cinemark’s mascot, Front Row Joe. This year is sure to be one of the best yet. Among the groups scheduled to walk are equestrian entries, costumes and many bands from around the Victor Valley. The Victorville Fire Department will be driving a new 2006 Pierce Fire Engine. There will also be a classic 1930 Ahrens-Fox Fire Engine, which was purchased new in 1930 by the Victorville Fire Department for $6,700. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2006.

The City of Victorville, the Daily Press and the Victorville Chamber of Commerce invite you and your family to come out on December 2nd and enjoy the parade which will begin at 10 a.m. at 7th Street and Plaza Drive and continue north to Mojave Drive.
