Traffic enforcement deputies sat inside the courtroom and observed courtroom testimony and the judge ordering defendant’s not to drive on their suspended license. Deputies followed the defendants out of the courtroom and if the defendant drove a vehicle after being ordered not to drive, officers were waiting nearby to stop and arrest the driver. A total of four (4) persons were followed from the courtroom and observed to drive after being ordered not to drive by the judge. Eight persons followed the judge’s order and had someone else drive them from the court. One person stopped was told not to drive from the court by the judge and when a deputy stopped her she admitted to being told not to drive. This driver ignored the judge’s order and still got into a vehicle and drove away from the court without a license. The vehicle being driven was impounded for 30 days!
