Victorville Municipal Utility Services (VMUS) offers electrical, cogeneration, and natural gas services for commercial and industrial customers at the Foxborough Industrial Park and the Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA). VMUS does not provide utility services in residential areas at this time.

Who do I contact if I have a utility-related emergency?

Power outages, gas leaks, and all other emergencies for services provided by VMUS should be reported promptly using the emergency hotline. Residential utility-related emergencies should be reported by dialing 911 or contacting your service provider directly(Public Utilities Contact Information).
A gas leak may be present if:
You smell an unusual odor, like that of rotten eggs. Natural gas is colorless and odorless, but odorant has been added to help customers smell gas if a leak were to occur.
You hear an unusual hissing or roaring noise coming from the ground or an above-ground pipeline.
You see discolored vegetation surrounding a pipeline, or water or dirt blowing into the air.
If you suspect a gas leak:
Warn others and evacuate to a safe location immediately.
Avoid sources of ignition such as smoking, operating electric appliances/devices or vehicles, using a phone or cell phone, switching on/off lights, or any other action that might create a spark.

How do I apply for gas or electric service for my business?
To apply for service, please fax or email a completedElectric and Gas Service Application to VMUS customer service. A VMUS representative will contact you within five (5) business days to discuss your electrical and/or gas service needs.
What are the business hours for VMUS customer service?
