Development Support Division
The Development division of the City of Victorville Engineering Department works with the development of private projects and their effect on the City's infrastructure. Development projects cover the gamut from a new 300-lot tract or a home owner wishing to split their property. It could be a site plan for a large shopping center, or someone converting a small house on commercial property to a business.
Initially, the Engineering Development division comments on proposed projects processed by Development department's Planning division, recommending conditions of approval. Later, the Engineering Development division checks the actual site plans, parcel maps, tract maps, etc. for the technical accuracy and conformance to engineering conditions of approval. The Development division also reviews proposals for lot line adjustments and lot mergers.
If you are looking for sewer and water availability; you want to know where the right-of-way ends and your property begins; or you have general questions, please contact the Engineering Department staff at email@example.com.
