About Member Valles

Angela Valles is the past president of the Victor Valley College Board of Trustees, but that is just one in a long list of accomplishments for this lifetime Victor Valley native.

Valles overcame the struggles of being a young mother after having a child at the early age of 16.  She went to work in corrections as a correctional officer, working her way up to the position of Warden.  An alumna of Victor Valley College, Valles earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development at Azusa Pacific University during her time in corrections. 

Valles didn’t stop there, she went on to earn an International Master’s Degree in Organization Development from prestigious Pepperdine University School of Business.

Valles works as the Director of Finance for the Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority, the High Desert’s award-winning public agency.  In the process of overcoming challenges and rising to meet her goals, Valles raised two beautiful children.  Her son Emmanuel is an Air Force veteran who currently lives in Victorville and her daughter Alissa currently attends Victor Valley College.
