Commissions, Authorities, and Committees

The City Council has several boards and committees to research, review, and make recommendations to the Council in specific areas.

• Planning Commission
  The Planning Commission reviews all projects developed in the City. The Commission meets the second Wednesday of the month at 5pm.

• Redevelopment Agency
  This agency meets monthly, usually as a part of the regular City Council meeting.

• Southern California Logistics Airport Authority
  This Authority meets to cover issues pertaining to the Global Access Airport. This agency meets monthly, usually as a part of the regular City Council meeting.

• Southern California Logistics Rail Authority
  This Authority meets to cover issues pertaining to rail cargo transport. This agency meets monthly, usually as a part of the regular City Council meeting.

• Victorville Joint Powers Financing Authority
  This Authority meets to cover issue pertaining to financial issues facing the local area.

• Victorville Water Management Ad Hoc Committee
  This committee was formed in September 2004 to bring together water agency and City representatives to develop consistent water use policies for the area. This committee meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 4:30 pm.
